3. What Tools Are Used in Alcohol Ink Art?
Main tools include alcohol inks, high-concentration alcohol, special paper, air blowers, face masks, and aprons. Tools and materials are available if needed, allowing participants to join without bringing their own supplies.
4. Does alcohol ink have a smell? Is special ventilation required?
Alcohol inks have a mild solvent-like scent, but it is generally not strong or irritating. In most cases, simply opening a window provides sufficient ventilation. For enclosed spaces, good air circulation is recommended. Participants may wear a face mask if preferred, and should avoid prolonged or close-range inhalation to ensure a comfortable and safe creative process.
5. Can alcohol ink stain clothes?
Yes. Alcohol ink is highly penetrative and may leave permanent stains if it gets on clothing. We recommend wearing aprons provided by us or bringing your own old clothes or protective sleeves/shirts during the workshop to avoid stains.
